Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow….

Well, I am feeling a lot better. So this is a definate positive. I didn’t listen to Dr. Malte‘s advice (probably a bad idea), and I went out drinking and partying. It seems that is what my body wanted…not what it needed – it needs rest…but wanted. 🙂

My party had only about 8 people…I invited 28. But you know what, it was a success anyway. It was cozy and comfortable. And we stuffed ourselves with snacks and drinks and listened to good music. I just need to remember that it was probably too close to Christmas. Or I just don’t have many friends. Whatever, it didn’t diminish the night.

The next party will be in January or February (and Malte, I promise to invite you, a factor I overlooked in my dayquil/nyquil/sudafed-induced state *sad and “i’m sorry” face*)

It’s snowing at the moment, Deborah Cox is in the CD player, and I am gorging myself on vodka-filled chocolates. I feel so Marlon Brando at the moment…as if all the cares of the world can be forgotten just by eating an entire apple pie.

Goodness….I am sicker than I thought. I am not sure why I am having a party exactly, but I feel like no matter what the outcome, it is too late to cancel it now. I am not sure if it’s the flu, but it feels stronger than a cold.

I was hoping to surprise my family in Boston with a “fly by” visit home (24 December – 26 December), but I hurt too much to make the journey.

Last night, I was so full of dayquil, nyquil, and sudafed that I began to hallucinate while I was trying to sleep. I was kinda caught in a waking nightmare for 2 hours, with images too horrible to describe. I was so awake I could hear everything around me, but I wasn’t able to react. And last night was my second 100-degree (farenheight) fever in 4 days.

My body really hurts. No, it’s not that simple. My bones ache. I’ve been struggling not to pass out a couple of times this week (Red Bull has kept the heart racing, even if the body has other plans).

But I must have this party tonight…it’s too late to cancel. I’ll think of some stronger drug combinations from my medicine cabinet to get me through tonight. I need to lie down so that I have strength to clean and shop and get ready for tonight.

Talk to all later…hope you are feeling better than me…

So I am sick…really sick…but at least it doesn’t feel like it’s the flu, and I broke the fever i had in one day 🙂

Time to head into the office…work to get done and christmas time is upon me!

Decided that I would take Monday morning off and go to work in the afternoon. We will see how this weekend goes…I am having a party.

Lord of the Rings:ROTK is awesome. You have to go see it. Went to see it tonight. There was a problem with the projector so the movie would bounce on occasion. So everyone in the theatre was given two free tickets and that was very cool. So in the end, I made out of the deal because the original ticket to see the movie was the equivalent of US$5 and the two free tickets have a value of like US$24. Not bad at all.

Anyway, I feel like crap at the moment…I hope I don’t get the flu or anything…I have so much to do and can’t afford to be sick….

I will never be done with my work.
So I will write short notes and messages instead of being productive.

I have decided that I holiday cards this year will be sent out on 28 December — if at all. I am supremely lazy…and seeing that the Swedish did a shitty job of delivering Jose’s package (has it even arrived yet? *sad face*), I don’t wanna risk leaving christmas cards to the Swedish post.

Sigh…I have so much to do…I wanna make like a tree and leave, but I have some more time to put in at the office before I go home….

*sobs*

P.S. if you get a chance, but the Lights Out 2 CD….it is really good…

Scott’s Goodbye — The Details

So Scott is now back in the mother country.

On Thursday we met up at Grodan for dinner…Scott and about 20 of his closest friends and work associates. And dinner was pretty good. Then we moved onto to Hotellet, which opened a new night club. The club itself was pretty nice, but the people were kinda trashy. I had a champagne toast for Scott, which was the least that I could do.

We stayed until the bar closed, and then we moved onto Buddah Bar. It wasn’t so much fun, but it was nice enough. It was much more about the company at that point, and everyone was pretty cool to hang out with.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay and party with Scott, because I had a plan to catch to Paris. So at 03.00, I called it quits and went home.

But no worries Scott, I have a feeling that I will be visiting London sooner rather than later 🙂

Gah!

So tomorrow I have this big huge meeting with one of our major customers. Time to get to the suit out of the hamper, beat it against a rock, and fool everyone into thinking I know what I am doing.
