So it’sa been 20 days since my last update. Thereabouts.

I’m in love with this song by Björk…”You’ve Been Flirting Again”. The music more than the voice, but I like how she blends the two elements together.

Anyway, things have been going quite okay basically. No major complaints. I went to Amsterdam from 11-13 May with Alex and we had a great time…and then I had a week in Stockholm dur to public holidays and that takes us through 18th of May. The weekend was spent relaxing and going out with Markus, Sussi, and others. Then from the 21st, I had to be in Copenhagen and Helsinki this week.

The weekend has been about nothing much actually. I met up with Markus and the gang on Friday and we had dinner at a new restaurant…fanstastic food. But I was so tired that I decided to call it an early night. On Saturday I ran some errands and then met up with Alex. And so here we are on a Sunday morning…studying Swedish, chatting on MSN, writing in LiveJournal.

I feel good so far. In the last 8 weeks my mind has never been happier or more content. There has been stress points for sure, but things have been strangely melancholy.

Anyway, Alex is coming over tonight and we’ll watch the second Pirates of the Carribean and the season finale to Desperate Housewives. And then I think next Friday we’ll go see the last Pirates at the movies. Good stuff indeed.

And it has been a very long time since I have written. Or actually, not so very long actually…I have been writing here and there, but generally have been making more and more posts restricted to friends registered on LiveJournal. Not because I don’t want to share things, but I have been reminded a few times – brutally – that even if everyone is not reading my journal, there are always some people who are for the wrong reasons (trying to collect info on me, etc).

But anyway, enough of that business. It’s unpleasant and I’m not gonna let anyone steal my sunshine today 🙂

I was in Budapest this week and it was a fantastic week. I was there from Thursday to Saturday. I came back on Saturday and I went to Alex’s place for dinner. He and his roommate made some fantastic moose steak and something called “body cakes”. And a homemade blueberry pie. Everything was wonderful. And then we met up at Lino with Markus and was dancing all night long. It was a lot of fun! 🙂

Today has been a bit of a lazy day…had a late start to the morning and then I went shopping for food to make chicken salad tonight. Another great dish shared with me by Alex. Nice, light, and healthy.

Tomorrow I will go to Copenhagen for a couple of days and then on Friday Alex and I will spend the weekend in Amsterdam. It should be a nice time 🙂

Or so I think….it was supposed to be a day off today but instead I worked all day. Friday and Monday are bank holidays in Sweden, so I will definately take that time off.

It’s been a long week. Everyone I know is away this weekend so I get extra time to take on personal projects. I have some ideas.

I guess this weekend I shall relax and drink more coffee. And get ready for the fact that I have a monster travel schedule for the next couple of weeks. Not happy stuff…
