Here is a link I found. It is not that I find this entirely unacceptable…in fact, I agree that our larger passengers have the right to travel the skies.
What I don’t agree with is the concept that somehow we are treating them unfairly to ask them to pay for a second seat, because I feel like I pay for my seat too, and I don’t want someone else spilling over into my seat.
Know what I mean?
The real question is why airlines (and all sorts of other transportation companies) seem to assume that because there’s an average size for a human being, that means everyone fits in the same design of seat. It’s hunky dory for budget-sized people like me, but it doesn’t make any sense for the large or the (Ob ) tall.
I agree with that entirely!!!!
This is why I want to launch a new airline…Tall Airlines.
