I made dinner tonight.

For an starter, I had a rocket salad garnished with apples, gorgonzola cheese, pan-seared walnuts with cinnamon, and a balsamic vinegrette dressing. I meant to include bacon pieces, but I forgot.

For the main couse, I made lasagne, with home made sauce using crushed tomatoes and some red wine, amongst other ingredients.

No desserts, as I’ve been taste testing all day and I couldn’t possible consume another bite.

I am not planning on going out tonight, as I have a project plan to write. So no rest for the wicked…erm…weary.

Anyway, time to go! 🙂

So Much To Do….

So I have so much to do today, and I don’t have a lot of timne to do it all in….

I have to come up with 3 project definition plans by the end of the day today, and then I also have to schedule some meetings, and back up my computer today…..so much to do….so little time!

Oh well…Iam READY TO ROCK 😉

Even though it’s a Sunday….

Happy Thursday (or something like that)

I have been back from the US only since Sunday afternoon, so I am still a bit jet lagged.

On Monday that I went to bed at 10.30. Robin came back from Berlin on Tuesday night at around 22.30. We went to bed around 23.30 I think because I had to wake up for a flight to Denmark on Wednesday.

Denmark was ok. I was there to give education, and as it turned out, the main event was cancelled, so I spent the time effectively anyway, focusing on Danish organisational activities. I took the 18.00 flight back home to Stockholm, and that was cool beause I chatted with Rob. I also got 2 bottles of champagne and 2 bottles of wine, to re-stock my wine and champagne collection. It is not duty free, but it was tax free, which means that it was still cheaper than buying it in Sweden. So that brought me up to 8 bottles of champagne, 3 bottle of sparkling wine, and 32 bottles of various wines, many of my Australian, South African, and Germany favourites.

Then went to go see Kill Bill vol. 1 with Robin. It was a pretty interesting movie to say the least (I will probably go to see vol. 2 as well). We ate dinner at Kungshallen since it had to be a quick meal. I was so tired that I went right to sleep when I got home, especially since I had to go visit tax/duty-free before my trip to Norway. I bought 2 more bottles of champagne, some skin care supplies, and some more ciggies for Caroline (I’m up to 600 Caroline…I’ll try to up get in another 200 before I am done! — and since Steve is coming to Sweden as well, I will see if I can enlist him to bring some from the US 🙂

Today I am in Norway, because I had to give SMDC education. The day is going along ok, but I have so much to do. I am now running 1 programme and 2 projects, so I have my workday filled with work to do and not enough time, but I prefer it be this way, and I asked for this. I just need to get an administrative assistant to manage my life and I will be all set.

Anyway, I am off. I have some documents to prepare. Some techincal issues to get fixed, and 3 programme/project definition reports to write!

Day One: Back At Work

Overslept today. That wasn’t a bad thing though because I was so tired. Got into the office and found that there was a problem with one of the databases that I own, so that ate up some time. Things are picking up where they left off pretty much.

We moved to offices closer to the Kista T-bana today. That was a good thing because it’s less of a walk, and we are closer to the tasty places to eat. What sucks is that I no longer have a desk to call my own, so I must use one of the mobile workplaces. I am really ok with it though, because it means that I will now work a combination (partyl from home, partly from the Nordea office downtown Stockholm, and partly from Kista). I will only be up in Kista when I need to do something administratively.

Off to Denmark tomorrow, but decided to come back home later than evening instead of flying straight on to Oslo. I will fly to Oslo on Thursday morning and stay in Finland on Thursday and Friday evenings, coming back on Saturday.

In some ways, it’s good to be back 🙂

I am going to die…

First and foremost, the song I like by Deborak Cox is called “It’s Over Now”, not “Please Forgive Me”. Pardon my error.

Second, I am still in the British Airways Terrace Lounge. I feel like this place is my tomb. I will die here for sure. I keep on staring at the flight announcement board, waiting for something good to happen, but alas, there is no hope, it seems like I will neer get out of the airport.

Oh wait, I think it told me to go to Gate 38. It is possible that I am leaving this god foresaken place called Heathrow. yes, it is my flight…and it is time for me to go. finally, after hours of endless waiting in this cess pool, I am almost free. which is a good thing, because otherwise I was going to play on the tarmac out of sheer boredom.
