Make It Count!
So after being so drunk last night that I stayed in, I have decided that today will be the day that I go out and party. And it shouldn’t be an impossible thing to do. Sebastian is in town, and I just chatted with Chris and he is coming down the Copenhagen Pride as well. So this is all coolness. And I have some Danish friends that I have to go and meet. So this should be a pretty awesome time tonight. I just have to make sure not to drink too much again! 🙂

Protected: Rodney’s Big Night In on his supposedly Big Night Out
Yay Copenhagen!
So tomorrow I have a business trip to Copenhagen. And lucky for me, it is also Copenhagen Pride this weekend. So while I would have normally have travelled on Friday and gone home on Saturday, it’s a party weekend in Copenhagen and with all that has been going on in my life in the past 2 months, I sure as well deserve a party weekend. We won’t mention the fact that last weekend was a party weekend at all.
So I am going to meet my friend Glen for dinner on Friday night, and I just learned today that Sebastian and his friends are in town so that means that there will be people I know in Copenhagen for Pride and partying. That makes me really happy and excited. The bad part is that I am missing Big Night Out in Göteborg, but all things considered, I will make Copenhagen a good experience.
And then the following weekend I will probably be in Barcelona/Ibiza for the weekend and the following week going to Tronheim.
With so many new things going on in my life, now seems like an excellent time to get some excitement back and do and try new things! 🙂
Piss Off MICROSOFT OUTLOOK EXPRESS!
I’ve just spent 30 minutes moving all of my mail files and newsgroups to Mozilla Thunderbird. You wanna know why? The final straw was when Microsoft decided that every single time I open Outlook Express that it should also start up AOL Instant Messenger. Despite the fact that I have Trillian. It was bad enough that it did not even have a proper search mechanism, but once Microsoft starts telling me what other programs I must have open in addition to the one I want, well they can just piss off.
20 minutes into using Mozilla and all things are looking good. They even have a feature that lets me have my RSS feeds inside the same application, so I can actually delete another application from my hard drive. The address book isn’t all that it could be, but you know what, I have another program for that anyway.
Piss off Microsoft. Once you realise that you are not so invincible that you can force users to use programs they don’t want, then maybe you’ll get me back as a customer. I’ve moved to Firefox and Thunderbird and I am not looking back.
Asshats, you brought this disgruntled customer on yourself. Keep fucking around and I’ll just port everything over to Linux and be done with Microsoft once and for all. And I’ll make sure to bring all of my tech-saavy friends in my personal life and business life with me!

Long Time No Post
So I think that it is time for a general update, especially since it has been so long since I have made one.
For the past few weeks I have been on vacation, but I have also been working during that period as well. Vacation has really just meant fewer hours. So last week while on vacation I went to work in Denmark and Oslo. This week while I am on vacation I will go back to Denmark at the end of the week.
This weekend was also Pride weekend in Stockholm. It was quite a fun party time. Wednesday I went to Berns, Friday I went to the Heaven Party at Rio, Saturday I went to the Hell Party at Rio as well as to Lino. Sunday I went to Defekt and Patricia. Monday was spent recovering and having dinner with my friend sipho84.
This week I am really going to try and relax a bit. Although I might meet up with my friends Chris and Hans in Göteborg to go to Big Night Out. But my friend Glen in Copenhagen might also be an alternative to hang out with because it is Pride in Copenhagen. And of course, I am still so totally undecided on whether to go to Ibiza in a couple of weeks or just stop short and visit some friends in Barcelona.
Decisions, decisions!
At any rate, since I have most of the rest of the week off, I need some ideas on how to be productive. Especially since next week begins a really hectic work schedule for me.
Any suggestions? 🙂
