I know it&#8217;s not the latest from Madonna, or the funky stylings of Kayne West.  But in my mind, Anita comes from a time in music when a recording artist didn&#8217;t have to rely so heavily on mixing studios, backup dancers, or sampling for their supper.  The league of muscians who didn&#8217;t have to reinvent themselves to sell more records because the strength of their voice and song carries the day.<\/p>\n<p>I listened to her a lot while growing up, and now that she has put out another CD I am enraptured.
